The focus of this event will be to bring transport and logistics companies together with the business community and local government to identify local and regional barriers to transport and logistics efficiency.
Issues identified and agreed to by the group as priorities will be taken by Western Roads Federation to National and State Government and industry panels that it is appointed to, as the representative of the WA Transport and Logistics Industry.

Reducing transport Compliance Risk for both operators and customers: Includes updates on changes in Chain of Responsibility to HVNL law and impact on WA and interstate operations

Addressing mental health in the transport industry

What are the road transport and accessibility issues effecting the North West? How can road transport open up new business growth in the region?

How do we address the growing skills shortage in transport and logistics, road user charging, public image of our industry, should heavy vehicle accreditation be expanded and the growing fuel security issue?
Audience discussion on the key issues effecting regional transport and logistics operators

Presenters:
Louise Bilato – CEO of the NT Road Transport Association
Louise’s family have been involved in Northern Territory transport for three decades, with her brothers owning and operating G&S Transport in Alice Springs.
Louise is regarded nationally as one of the strongest advocates for Northern Australia transport and logistics issues.

Cam Dumesny -CEO of the Western Roads Federation, the WA peak body for road transport.
Cam has a post graduate in Marketing (Supply Chain), plus a conferred masters for Predictive Modelling.
He has held senior executive roles in Transport and Logistics, Research and Development, Manufacturing and Technology and has lived and worked in Asia, USA and the UK.
He has also guest lectured on supply chain issues at Melbourne, Monash, Deakin and Griffith Universities.
